DUNNOCK (Hedge Sparrow) Prunella modularis

Streaky brown plumage with a grey head top and throat. Nests in bushes with a small grassy cup lined with hair and moss. Its loud single piping note draws attention to it and its habit of continuously shuffling its wings.
Forages on the ground shuffling for small insects, worms and seeds.
